About the BMA

Greetings from the Brookings Merchants Association. We are a non-profit volunteer group of business owners working together to foster and promote Brookings as a demonstrably FUN shopping experience and as a brand for both local residents and tourists.

Our Mission Statement is to establish Brookings as a destination shopping area that is recognized as a brand for a fun environment that provides an above average shopping experience. Our purpose is to add organized promotions to general community events and to make each merchant’s business a special FUN place to do business everyday.

The Core Values as defined by the originating group of merchants is to add value to the entire merchant community, via focused attention to the mission, honesty, fairness, positive attitudes and approach, synergy, sharing of time and information, and to have fun doing it.
